After being in and out of the hospital for almost a month for different health issues, my 89 year old Mom was diagnosed with Covid 19. Due to Mom's mild Covid symptoms, she was able to be discharged to return to her home. At this point, Mom required 24 hour care and I knew this was going to be difficult. I contacted numerous health care agencies but the kindest response I received was from Select Care. Almost immediately, Kelly said, "We want to help". I knew from that statement alone that I had found the perfect people to take care of Mom. From that day on, until Mom passed, Mom was given the most amazing care from each and every one of the nurses and aides. Every one who took care of Mom was caring, loving, compassionate and sensitive to all of Mom's needs. All of the staff kept in constant contact with me and guided me through all of the necessary arrangements that Mom needed before and after her discharge from the hospital. Even after Mom's passing, they have continued to help finalize Mom's needs. Needless to say, I feel that Select Care have been my guardian angels. They are the kindest people and I am so very lucky to have found them.

I live alone and needed help at home while recuperating from surgery, not major, but still concerning. SelectCare reps helped me with cleaning myself, meals, keeping my living space clean, taking me to the hospital for surgery and to doctor followup appointments, and , above all, keeping me safe. I recommend SelectCare without hesitation.

SelectCare home health aides took care of my mother and father for over a year and a half. Mom and Dad both had moderate dementia. I found the aides to be consistently caring, compassionate, understanding and attentive to my parents' needs. They performed all the necessary tasks in a positive, cheerful, friendly and respectful manner. They really care. I highly recommend this agency.

SelectCare is simply phenomenal. As a physician, I have a good view into the current health care scene. In the sea of home health care providers, where these days everything is reduced to numbers, cost, and then ‘on-to-the-next’, SelectCare is an outlier in the best sense of the word. We had watched SelectCare for quite some time as they provided home care services for a dear family friend. We saw that they were 100% reliable, had excellent operating procedures, and hired really extraordinary caregivers who actually cared about their job and the person they were caring for. We have also had experience with other companies in the past which were so-so, and therefore when it came time for our family to engage a caregiving company for Mom they were the obvious choice. And it turned out to be by far the best choice possible. The SelectCare office team and managers are staffed with people who truly care about their clients. Working with the office to provide coverage as needed has been seamless. They are not only available but happy to communicate at any time. They are flexible in terms of the care needs, and can expand or contract the care depending on the needs of the client. The case managers are highly trained nurses who are super dedicated to insuring their clients receive what they need, and they go the extra mile. And the caregivers themselves are remarkable; reliable to a fault, well trained dedicated, capable, trustworthy…everything you could possibly want if you need to have someone outside of family coming into your home for very personal interactions with the family member in need. And when I’m out of town, and the peace of mind that I have knowing that SelectCare is there when I cannot be is absolutely priceless.

SelectCare has been helping to take care of my husband for an entire year, sometimes for 24 hours a day. He has been in constant danger of falling and has needed kind and careful help. This has been consistently provided by SelectCare. Not once did the agency fail to cover all these hours, even when someone occasionally had to cancel at the last minute. Always was a SelectCare aide there, ready to help at the appointed time. It was always easy to communicate with the office. The nursing help and advice was very useful and the nurse assigned to our case was the same one throughout the year. She visited every so often and was very knowledgeable and kind. I keep using the word "kind" because I think in this situation one needs not only competence but also kindness. This is consistently provided by SelectCare, both by management and by on-the-job aides. I recommend this agency very highly.

I needed an aide to fill in for my mother ASAP. All of you **always** come through for my mother, even when I ask the next-to-impossible. The simple truth is that, if it weren't for all of you--especially Sandy--I wouldn't have a life or a career or a good night's sleep.

My 89-year old mom landed in the hospital with an ankle fracture. She ended up in rehab after that, but had to return to the hospital due to complications. Upon return, she was diagnosed with Covid-19. As she was not presenting with any symptoms, the hospital deemed her well enough to return home, especially since they needed the bed for other Covid patients. As we needed 24-hour care, we reached out to many home health care providers, most who did not respond. SelectCare literally came to our aid, providing exactly the care and support we needed. I can't say enough about this group of aides and nurses. They are personal, caring, wonderful human beings. They were in constant communication with us about everything that was needed for my mom. They were proactive ensuring she was well taken care of. This was hugely important for us given we live in Massachusetts and with the Covid condition, could not be with my mom. Even in her passing, they stayed connected with us, helping to take care of final needs. If you are looking for elder care, look no further. These people are amazing!
