Why We’re Different

“The right person makes all the difference”

IMG_5968SelectCare Home Care Services opened in 1985 in New York recognizing that in-home care can be delivered in a compassionate and professional manner that keeps the client, caregiver and family in the forefront of our decisions. Believing there is nothing more important than this relationship, we have worked to ensure that each person who becomes part of SelectCare shares this philosophy. Every decision we make follows our company motto: “the right person makes all the difference.”

In order to deliver on this promise, we have designed our services in a way that minimizes the most difficult challenges our clients face when presented with the need for home care. The result is a seamless process that lessens the burden of coordinating, planning and communication for you, giving you and your loved ones the time to focus on what matters most.

For every client, we provide:

  • Coordinated home care plans between your doctor, certified health care team and our nursing staff.
  • Prompt and responsive communication that avoids unnecessary delays in changes of physician orders or home care plans.
  • Monthly home visits and ongoing supervision by SelectCare Registered Nurses at no charge to you.
  • 24 Hour On-Call staff for emergencies, weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • A culture of accountability that ensures our staff members are as invested in your care as you are.
  • One-on-One staffing with your personal Service Coordinator

These are just a few of the ways SelectCare builds relationships that make your comfort and happiness our paramount goal. To learn more about the home care services we provide, visit our services page or give us a call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We are so pleased with the care my parents have received from SelectCare Home Health Care. I live in the opposite part of the state and have no other family in NYC to look in on them. My father refuses to leave his own home, so home care was the only way to go. They were recommended by my NYC church, who I knew had done a complete vetting of the service. My mother is, shall we say, difficult. She gave a lot of pushback to the process, but they were patient and kind, and completely understood her feelings. They are thorough and caring and I have total confidence that my parents' needs are being met.
